Marlena Kropidłowska

Marlena is HEAL’s Communications Officer who raises awareness on the health impacts of air pollution and Polish coal-fired power plants, particularly at local and regional level.

Marlena graduated with a Masters in Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Łódź in Poland. During her studies she was an active member of the Baltic University Programme, focusing on the promotion of sustainable development and international cooperation for resolving the most important ecological and social issues.

Previously she was working as an environmental specialist and a sustainable manager. She also has experience in grassroots organisations that work in the field of animal rights and environmental protection, mostly in the media and research departments. She participated in an EVS programme for the protection of endangered species.
