Eva Takaria

Eva is HEAL’s Climate, Energy and Health Campaigns Assistant. She is mainly working on the topic of fossil fuel subsidies and health, and supporting HEAL’s outreach development. She helps manage the healthy energy and air pollution campaign, assists with research around fossil fuel impact’s on health as well as with creating campaign materials.

Before joining HEAL, Eva worked as an intern at the public health service GGD Zuid-Limburg in the Netherlands focusing on the topic of Care and Advise Teams. Eva holds a BSc of Science in European Public Health, and a MSc of Science in Global Health from the University of Maastricht.

During her studies, she lived in Copenhagen for half a year for her minor Nutrition and Health. After that she spent half a year in India working on Medical Social Work. Post graduating, she travelled for half a year through South-East Asia and Australia. Travelling and exploring other cultures has developed into one of her passions, and in her free time Eva furthermore enjoys cooking, reading books, forest walks with her dog and family, and sports.
