Natacha Cingotti

Natacha Cingotti is HEAL’s senior policy officer leading the chemicals and health programme at the Health and Environmental Alliance (HEAL) and advancing European policies and initiatives for a toxic-free future. Since joining HEAL, she has lead and coordinated HEAL’s EU and national advocacy on Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals and pesticides in close cooperation with HEAL’s member organisations including cancer, health and environmental groups. In 2017, she worked with SumofUs and EDC-Free Europe for a successful online petition in English, German and French signed by 321.675 individuals and call in tool to the European Parliament asking them to reject the Commission’s weak EDC proposal.

She represents HEAL in the EU Commission, European Parliament and member states fora and participates in the EU Chemicals Agency work, and the HBM4EU project. She is also a frequent contributor to radio, TV and print media across Europe on the opportunities to prevent diseases through more ambitious and coherent EU chemicals policies.

Her previous track record includes campaigning on economic justice issues with Friends of the Earth Europe, taking on the fight against excessive corporate lobby influence on EU policy processes, promoting better public access to environmental information, and co-coordinating the trade and investment work (including setting up the campaign against the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership).
