EFA - Test Your Allergies at the European Parliament
The European Parliament Interest Group on Allergy and Asthma will gather on 26 April to discuss how to improve allergy prevention and care in the EU, reports the European Federation of Allergy and Airways Diseases Patients Associations (EFA).
The meeting will follow the EU Commission chronic disease conference, which takes place on 21 April and aims to define what the European Parliament can do to help address allergy in the upcoming Chronic Disease Policy process.
At the start of the allergy season, the Interest Group will open an exhibition to raise awareness. They will also launch a two-day allergy skin prick test session at the Parliament, conducted by doctors for free. The results of the tests will be communicated to the participants individually and in a confidential manner.
Get your allergies tested! Send an email to email@example.com to register.
The EP Interest Group on Allergy and Asthma is a common effort by European allergy and asthma patients, EFA, health professionals, EAACI and Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) committed to address what constitutes one of the most prevalent chronic diseases in Europe.
