EHF - Environment and Health Fund - Symposium on Agriculture and Environmental Health

On 28 May, the Hebrew University Center of Excellence in Agriculture and Environmental Health hosts the second Symposium on Agriculture and Environmental Health.

The Hebrew University Center of Excellence in Agriculture and Environmental Health was established by HEAL’s member the Environment and Health Fund (EHF) in April 2012. The symposium will focus on the following topics:

  • Recent findings on the health outcomes of exposure to pesticides and phthalates;
  • Agricultural practices and health;
  • Pharmaceuticals in treated wastewater for irrigation: treatment methods, uptake of the pharmaceuticals by crops and assessment of human exposure to these pharmaceuticals
