Environment and Health Fund – Breast Cancer and the Environment Conference
Worldwide breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed and the leading cause of cancer death in women. The majority of breast cancer cases are diagnosed in women without a family history of the disease - suggesting that environmental factors increase the risk of breast cancer.
The Environment and Health Fund (EHF) Annual Conference on 27 October 2015 will be focused on this issue of breast cancer and the environment. Keynote speakers include Professor. Frank Biro of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and principal investigator in one of the studies of the American Breast Cancer and the Environment Research Program, as well as Jeanne Rizzo, President of the Breast Cancer Fund.
