One Health Sweden – One of our recent speakers just received an award!
Susanne Sütterlin, a speaker at the One Health Research Pub last month, has been awarded a postdoctoral support award for her project on how toxic heavy metals and disinfectants may contribute to the spread of antibiotic resistance. She had previously received a 2016 scholarship from Stiftelsen Alf de Ruvos Minnesfond (the Alf de Ruvo Memorial Foundation).
One Health Sweden wishes Susanne all the best in her future research career in Oxford, UK!
Other speakers at the Research event included Martin Andersson (LnU) who spoke about Babesia, a tick-borne zoonosis in Sweden, and Björn Vinnerås (SLU) who focused on fly larvae composting, the future in waste management and protein production.
