WECF France - Two members of Senate ask for better integration of environmental health in national health policy
France has adopted a national Health and Environment Action Plan (NEHAP) and is now about to vote on a National Health Act, where environmental health should be better reflected as a pillar in this Act.
Women in Europe for a Common Future France (WECF) contributed to the NEHAP and now supports the content of a recent report released by two Senators Aline Archimbaud and Chantal Jouanno, which emphasises the need to implement primary prevention measures and of actions dedicated to both known and emerging risks in environmental health – such as endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs).

In 2014, WECF France organised in 2014 an international symposium on breast cancer and the environment, focused on primary prevention.
