Climate action to advance healthy societies in Europe
CATALYSE is an EU-funded project that develops evidence, data, and tools to measure the health impacts of climate change, and the benefits of accelerated climate action. In response to the urgent need for solutions, the project also creates novel forecasting and surveillance tools, identifying the most effective strategies to incorporate health in climate change adaptation and mitigation.
HEAL, a project partner of CATALYSE, is supporting this effort by
- Raising awareness of the health impacts of climate change and the benefits of climate action
- Analysing health engagement on climate in a case study on Poland
- Developing recommendations on how to strengthen health protection in climate mitigation and adaptation policies
Project duration: 2022-2027
