HEAL has sent a letter to Members of the European Parliament urging them to commit to protecting health against climate, environmental threats in the next five years, in their positions on legislative proposals as well as in all budgetary and financial decisions.
HEAL’s Anne Stauffer spoke at the fourth of a series of high-level Bonn Dialogues on Environment and Health, held by the WHO European Centre for Environment and Health (ECEH), under the auspices of the Environment and Health Process.
The event focused on effective risk communication for environment and health and the latest trends, theories and concepts for efficient communication between science, policy and stakeholders, in the lead up to the WHO Minsterial Environment and Health conference in Budapest in July 2023.
The discussion used as a starting point the recently issued WHO report Effective risk communication for environment and health, realised within the framework of the European Union Health Environment Research Agenda for Europe (HERA) project.
