Endocrine disrupters and reproductive health

MERLON is an EU funded project aiming to improve our knowledge on how exposure to endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) during critical life stages can impact reproductive health and sexual development. Between 2024-2028, the project will develop tools for chemical risk assessors and policymakers to better identify and ultimately regulate these substances.

HEAL, a project partner of MERLON, is supporting this effort by

  • Raising awareness of EDCs and related health concerns
  • Promoting and sharing the latest findings on EDCs and impacts on reproductive health and sexual development
  • Developing policy recommendations to safeguard people from the harmful impacts of EDCs

Project duration: 2024-2028
