Sophie joined HEAL in 2018 as Policy Coordinator and became our Senior Coordinator, Health and Air Quality in 2024. She is one of the HEAL representatives in meetings or events. She is responsible for coordinating HEAL’s EU advocacy on clean air for health and takes care of maintaining and strengthening the engagement on EU advocacy of HEAL members and partners
Before joining HEAL, Sophie worked as adviser and campaigner at the European Parliament for over 5 years. Her areas of expertise include environmental health, access to health care, food safety and social affairs. Sophie has also previously worked at national level in France on waste, on biodiversity and on local health and social policies.
